I can't believe it - a married couple picked us! The match isn't final, we are working thru some questions right now, but it looks ok so far! Baby would be coming in February! There is methadone exposure, but I'm feeling pretty comfortabe with that. Just curious on the time in withdrawal the baby would have to go through. I'm hearing from 96 hours to 2 weeks.
I'm so excited!
TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!

Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!
Re: Someone picked us!!!!
Great news! GL to you!

YAY!!!!!!
Luke's BM was on a pretty high dose of Methadone. He did have some of the withdrawl symptoms, but in my opinion, they were pretty mild. No NICU time or any other major issues. Feel free to PM me about it if you want to talk some more.
Congratulations!!
that's great news!
Congrats!!
Once you come down from the excitement, I'd love to talk a bit more, esp if it's through your/our adoption center.
So happy for you!!
That's so exciting! Good Luck!
YAY!!!!!!!!!! I would contact a pediatrician that you plan to use for your child and talk to them about this so you can be prepared and know what to ask doctors before and after your child is born and so you can be your child's best possible advocate!!! The symptoms will usually present themselves in 24 to 72 hours after birth and the length of time it takes for baby to withdrawl can be wildly different! The severity of symptoms can also be wildly different. So talk to your pediatrician and then be armed with knowledge to get you and your child home and healthy as soon as possible.
Sooooooooooo excited for you both!
