How many snappis do I need?

We will be CDing with prefolds/ covers mostly at home and pockets/ AI2s at DC. I'd like to get a Snappi or 2+ for a little extra prefold security. 1) Do you really need a Snappi when using prefolds/ covers? 2) How many do you have?

We definitely needed to use Snappis when we used PFs. Our baby was very active and squirmy, so without a Snappi to keep the PF in place, we got a mess in the cover. We had two, and that was plenty for us.

Definitely need to snappi to keep in the poop. We have 2 between 2 kids and we're making it work. We had 3, but I lost one somewhere.

One for each place that you change baby's diaper (one at each changing table in your house, plus one for the diaper bag). For us, that's 3.

I bought a pack of three. One for each place I change my baby (nursery, downstairs, diaper bag). So far, I haven't been brave enough to take her out of the house in anything but disposables, though!

I have 3 & I feel like I only needed 2. They don't get dirty so I would really only need the one, but I like to have a back up in case I lost it or something.

My cousin recommended 3... one for upstairs (to leave with that changing area), one for downstairs (to leave with that changing area), and one that's on the baby... that way there is always one where we need it!
