Hi there! Will you tell me about your trampoline? I think DD would love one! Does yours use it a lot? You comfortable with the safety part of it? And where did you get it? Thanks!

    Okay, I'm not boxermomma but I thought I would chime in as well! :)

     We love ours! We got it for our son when he had just turned 2. It has been great! I grew up in a house where trampolines were not allowed so maybe I am living vicariously through my kiddos! But, my daughter(20 months) and my son(now 3.5) are on it daily. We have the big nets on the side and I have never had an issue with safety concerns. I do have rules though. I don't allow more than 2 kids on at the same time and the kids have to be the same age(like I don't let my son and daughter on at the same time) unless an adult is on with them. I am also super careful about the rules at birthday parties because, sometimes, people feel like it's okay to put a ton of kids on when I am not watching. 

    I ordered ours online and I think I ended up getting it through walmart. I just read through all the reviews and found the best brand and then I went where they delivered it(pretty heavy box) with free shipping! :)

    Butting in, too-

    We also got it for DD when she was 2 and she LOVES it (as does DS).  We have the net and I'm glad we do.  They haven't really flown into it or anything, but DS in particular loses his balance and will run in to the net.  He's kind of a wild man, though :)

    We asked our pedi and she basically think they are awful.  She said so many kids break bones and it's almost always from having too many people on the trampoline at a time.  We have a 1 child limit, but DH always lets both of our kids jump at the same time.  Our friends that have one let much older kids jump with much younger kids and it just seems so dangerous to me.

    I grew up with a trampoline and loved it, so I knew we would get one eventually.  I think 2-3 is a great time to do it, although my youngest has been on it since he was 1.

    We got ours at Academy and I think it was around $170.  Oh, and last Christmas we put lights all around the top of the net and DD thought it was awesome :)
