39 weeks +

in 3rd Trimester

for those of us over 39 weeks, I'm wondering...

 

are you totally SICK of being preggo, or are you cool to hold out?  

 How long are you willing to go before asking to be induced/your doc tells you they they want you to be induced?

 

I figure that past my due date, I'll give DD up to 42 weeks to get here, then it's GO time.

    I am not quite 39 weeks, but hoping it's okay to butt in :)

    I am to the point of being "done," but really don't want to be induced, so I am going to go as long as doc. lets me.

    Talk to me at 41 weeks, and I may have changed my mind...

    I really don't want to be induced, either.  I'm trying my darnedest to not have to.  I keep telling DD that come next Saturday, it's game time.... she needs to get out and meet the world.  I'm hoping this crazy pep talk will get things rollin'.

    Also not quite 39 weeks, but anyway...

    I'm so over this, I almost feel guilty. My OB offered to induce me at my appointment on Friday because my PUPPP has gotten so bad. I declined though because DH was with me and he convinced me that we should give the baby a little more time to come out on it's own. I sort of hate him for that :)

    I'm with you, Beezers - if I make it to 42 weeks, bring on the induction. I am going to follow your lead on the pep talks...c'mon baby!!

    I am not 39 weeks yet, but I am sick of being pregnant.  I will likely be in induce in the next week, but I am having some medical issues that my ob is really concerned about.  I am not sure how I would feel if I wasn't so sick.

    I am done totally w/ being pregnant and my OB already said he would induce 10/28 (which is 5 days after my due date).

    I'm done here, too.  I have a standing offer to induce now b/c of my pelvic dysplasia, but I'm trying to hold out for a natural birth.  So we'll see what Wednesday's appt brings.

    I'm sick of it, but I wouldn't dream of asking to be induced, I figure if she's staying in still it's for a reason.  My dr said if I get to 41 wks they'll be talking induction withing a couple of days.  She won't let me go past 42.

    I'm basically over being pregnant, obviously!  No talk of induction yet.  I have a nonstress test scheduled for Thursday, but not sure what will happen from that.  I won't even bring induction up though....I'm going until they won't let me anymore.
