  Ananke:

  How long should I hang my inserts in the sun to get out the stains?  If I hang them every day in the sun to dry (weather permitting) will I pretty much be stain free?

  As often and as long as you can.  The more frequently and longer you can do it, the better your chances of getting stains out.  I was able to get most ebf poo stains out this way.  Once we moved to solids, my mf inserts began retaining stains, but they're just the inserts so I don't worry too much about it.

  I usually leave them out 4-8 hours at each wash and I have no stains on mine.

  I line dry/sun after every wash (unless it's raining) and have zero stains.

  Awesome, thanks ladies!  I put up a line outside today, so I'll start hanging them out to dry until it gets too cold.
