Our date is set! C/S scheduled!

We are having a repeast c-section on December 2, 2010 which will be 38 weeks.  Yay!  Also signed our consent to have my tubes tied during the c-section as we have decided we are done with 2 kids.  Can't wait for December 2 to come now!!!

    Congrats! We're scheduled for the 15th for a repeat as well. I'm still mulling over the tubal right now. Can I ask what was the deciding factor for you?

    A number of things...we only wanted 2 children from the get-go so that started our discussions about it.  Then the more we talked about it the more it made sense just to have it done during the c/s therefore no more recovery/restriction than without.  My hubby was fine having it done but it's not as guaranteed - we have heard that a man has to ejaculate 20+ times and be re-tested to ensure all the swimmers have been eliminated.  We also did not know until last Monday that this baby is a girl (we have a boy at home now) so our decision was based on this baby possibly being another boy until then (and we're still not guaranteed this is a girl so we could end up with 2 boys which we are ok with).

    My repeat c-section is scheduled for the 3rd and my Dr asked me if I wanted my tubes tied but I just cant do it. this will be my third child and I truly dont want anymore just because I have RA and it complicates the pregnancies. Its just too hard for me- idk y.  I love having it scheduled! I can get up shower and be completely prepared. Good luck ladies! :)

    Congrats! We scheduled our repeat for the 20th! I'll be exactally 39weeks. I can't wait either!
