what size gmd prefolds should i get?

ds is tall and skinny. he's about 15 lbs. the prefolds i got with my jillians trial are wayyyy too big to use trifolded. they are sending me infant size to try.

i am ordering the majority of my stash right now and since ds is on the cusp in size, i am ordering up in covers and sized (getting mediums and size 2's) hopefully it all works right away.

so, i was thinking the yellow edged would be a good size, but now i'm second guessing. i don't want to get the red and have them be too long though.

what size do you think i should get? anyone use yellow with 15+ pounder?

We stopped using pfs before DD got to 15 lbs (we stopped with yellow). Have you seen the page at GMD with pictures of babies in the pfs? That might help: https://greenmountaindiapers.com/prefolds.htm

DD is 5 months old and ~13lbs- the yellow PFs are getting small. The red ones are starting to fit better. She's still in the Thirsties Duo size 1 cover. We snappi the PF though. It sounds like you trifold- I don't know if that makes a difference.
