I'm pregnant with my first, and I won't be buying anything for a while... but I've just been looking around at things and I realized when it comes to strollers/carseats, I have no idea what I'm doing. There are too many! What strollers do you all recommend?
I was looking for something easy... like a carseat that snaps onto a stroller frame? And having the baby face me in the stroller? Obviously, I have no clue what I'm doing with this whole stroller thing...
Re: I have no idea what I'm doing... Strollers
You could get a Graco snugride carseat and a snap and go frame if that's what you're looking for.
Pick up a copy of Baby Bargains to read - they have great recommendations for all kinds of baby gear.

I agree w/ pp- a carseat and snap n go is probably perfect for you. But you really need to check out the book Baby Bargains- it will help you figure out exactly what your needs are and narrow down the choices. It is totally overwhelming at first but that book saved my sanity!

I used a snap n go for the first 2 months because I didn't know what I wanted in a stroller. I thought it was better to spend $60 on a frame, then off the bat spend possibly hunderds and hate the stroller.
I finally decided on a Bugaboo Frog when my son was 2 months old and couldn't be happier, it was the perfect choice for us. I also have a Maclaren Techno XLR that is fabulous and a Combi EX, but the Combi is less than to be desired, I leave that at my moms.
Good Luck!! Choose the right baby gear to fit your lifestyle can be a confusing decision. It was for me.
I have the Baby Jogger City Mini and I got the car seat adapter and the Graco Snugride 35 infant seat.
I love this stroller. DS will be in it for many years. It is light, easy to fold and folds small enough that it fits in my small car trunk and I still room for groceries.
I advise going to BRU or another baby store and trying out the strollers there. I couldn't manage one of the huge travel system strollers.
Here is the video that convinced me on the BJ and made my girlfriend wish she could have another baby so she could buy one.
We chose the Quinny Buzz 4 and I'm so happy we did. It has the ability to be a "snap and go" without looking like one (i think they kind of look cheap). It's really durable but not too heavy. I didn't like the drab colors most strollers come in and the Maxi Cosi Mico carseat that fits the Buzz is offered in bright colors, as well as blacks and browns. It folds up to be pretty small. I have a two door convertible with a smallish trunk and it fits in there just fine with plenty of room to spare. Also, the bar height is adjustable - my husband is 6'3" and I'm 5'7" so it works well for both of us. There are a million other pros. If you have any more questions about it, you can PM me. I truly love this travel system.
