Cloth Diapering

Disposable Diaper Liners

I've just educated myself on CD. There are so many brands, but I found one I like.

What kind of disposable diaper liners do you use, where do u get them?

TIA

Re: Disposable Diaper Liners

  • Also, when out and about what do you use to put the old diapers in?

  • I just plan to use disposable liners during the starting solids phase.  That's supposed to be the worst.

I use a Planet Wise medium wetbag for soiled diapers when out and about.

  • I use a FuzziBunz wetbag I bought on super sale from CottonBabies, but really almost any kind of pul wetbag will do the trick. There are tons of sellers out there. I might make some up to put in my etsy shop someday too.

You can get them on Amazon and lots of other places.

If you plan on breastfeeding or feeding breast milk you won't need to worry about these for a while. If you are formula feeding you'll need to either scrap, spray, swish, something because that pooo is not water soluable like BM poo. The fomula poo and solids poo is all bad IMO, but the liners only help sometimes. I use the liners when we're fighting a diaper rash and using noncd safe ointments.

  • could you use regular toilet paper as a disposable diaper liner?  It seems to be made of the same stuff...

The way most liners are made it lets the pee through but not the solid waste, the toilet paper would probably disintegrate with wear after it is peed on.

I don't think that would work. When LO pees, the tp would start to fall apart and you'd end up picking tp lint out of the diaper. The flushable liners biodegrade in the sewer system, but they're stronger than tp.
