Husband was like, "Um, hell no?"
I want to put tights on baby UNDER a footed onesie because we took him out today thinking he was all bundled up but when we got home his little legs were chilly (we had socks on his feet under the onesie). So I thought tights would solve that problem.
Or if you have a better (manly) solution for DH let me know. THANKS!
Re: would you put tights on a boy?
Baby Gap has jeans that are lined with a fleece type material. I wouldn't put tights on my son.

absolutely. If I didn't have thermals or baby legs then definately tights under pants!
I don't care what it "looks" like, baby's warmth and care trumps estetics.
And Mikail Baryshnakov wore some nice looking tights and he's pretty manly, eh?
there's nothing wrong with putting tights on a boy....just like there's no problem with boys wearing pink....
if it keeps him warm, keep doing it! (i'd put tights on ds if it meant that he's staying warm)

FYI there are a few etsy.com sellers who have handmade babylegs for much cheaper than the name brand.

Also, the only socks that stay on DD are the carter's wiggleproof ones that fold over. I have tried many many socks on the girl. They sell them at target, walmart, and anywhere they sell carter's stuff.

Sorry, they are girls socks, but boys are the same but blue
Homemade babylegs, cut the foot part off of some sport socks or any knee socks for that matter.
I usually put pants over a fleece sleeper if we are going to be outside for awhile.
