Trying to Get Pregnant

Pregnant at 70

Normally I don't watch this shiiit, but I cannot believe this stuff. A lady is 70 and are doing fertility treatments for her first child. WTF is wrong with the doctor who agrees to this. I truly deeply understand the desire for a baby. But this is wrong on so many levels.

  • I agree. That is dangerous for her and the baby on so many levels. If her body can handle the pregnancy, what happens if she gets age-related health problems and can no longer care for the child? I completely sympathize with her desire for a child - but its so dangerous, both for her and baby, and before and AFTER pregnancy.

  • I am not usually off but I have a sick kiddo today and I am watching it too. I honestly can't believe it. One of these woment did it twice and had twins the second time. They already have health problems and it's only going to get worse. I feel so sorry for the children. I know that none of us are promised tomorrow but the odds of them being around when they are older are totally stacked against them.

  • I saw this as well the other day.

My thoughts are: that poor child (if she were actually able to conceive and carry the child)!!  I mean, really, what are the chances that this woman would actually make it to see this child go to school, or graduate, or get married?  There is such a large chance that this child would be orphaned at a young age . . .

Not only that, but what a dumba$$ doctor to consent to this!!

Exactly, even if the baby is healthy, I feel bad for the child!
