Just saw your 30 days answer and wanted to tell you that my mom's going on a mission trip to Kenya in 2 weeks. They're going to be doing vision tests and giving out glasses. I am so excited for her & wish I could go! What a cool answer you put too.
Hope things are going better with DD#2's sleeping and the living arrangements. When I get frustrated with my husband working from home, I think of you for some perspective. I don't know how you do it!
Re: ~Abrooks~
Aw! Thanks. We are managing and we've had a lot of blessing despite all the craziness. The gastro doc adjusted Baby N's reflux meds last week and she's been waking only 1-2 times a night now. SO much better and lesson learned. I had no idea her meds were that out of whack. And good news - we should (fingers crossed) be back in the house this weekend!! I am going to do a little dance of joy once we are actually home.
Your mom's trip sounds awesome! I would love to do that. I went on a mission trip to Zambia 2 years ago. It was a wonderful experience - very educational. I looked in the peace corp right before DH and I met. I am hoping in the next many years to actually start spending time over there on a more significant basis.
I'd love to hear about your mom's experience when she returns!
Yea, what good news! I imagine it will be so nice to be back in your own house.
I will be happy to let you know about the trip. Something tells me she might write out her experience. I hope there are pics too.
An old friend of my DH's is fostering a baby right now (with the hope to adopt) and her emails just bowl me over. She is one of my leading role models. I am admittedly afraid of potential behavioral issues, but maybe I'll remember a shred of info from my counseling degree. Plus, I think they train you pretty well.
