Can you tell me what all drugs that you have had to take? I am trying to out my FSA for this year and of coarse it is due the day before my my first RE appointment.
First attempt with the RE was going to be Follistim (I used 2.5 of the 300IU vials), Ovidrel, and prog supplements. Now he's going to add Femara into it.
I know where you're coming from. I spent a while at the RE this morning getting IVF cost info and stuff so I knew what to put into my HSA.

Right now my insurance does not cover any medications or the procedures. All it will cover is office visits and ultrasounds (so at least something). I am trying to find out if the insurance through my work will cover anymore, but I am not finding information very easily.
my IUIs were Gonal F and Ovidrel, Estradiol/Estrace and an antibiotic of some sort for just 2 days.
my RE also had me do rounds with Clomid and Femara
m/c#1 07/16/08 (11 weeks), m/c#2 10/10/08 (8 weeks).
and then nothing since except every test possible (no answers).
IUI#1 and #2: BFNs
Super lucky to be buddies with Peetie.
Our out of nowhere, surprise DD born 5/29/2011
Every RE has a different protocol, but this is my list for IVF
Injections:
Cetrotide 0.25 and 3mg
Gonal-F pens
Luveris
Progesterone in oil
HCG
Vivelle patches
Oral:
Doxycycline
Dexamethasone
Medrol
Prenatal Vitamins (high folic acid 5mg)
Baby aspirin
For IUI I used Gonal-F and HCG
ETA: these drugs are hellaexpensive if you do not have insurance. I had a one time override for coverage.
I agree with surfer...I've taken Menopur, Bravelle, Follitstim, Lupron (long Lupron protocol); Follistim and Ganirelix (antagon protocol), HCG triggers with both (10,000 units HCG disolved in saline), prog in oil, and Lovenox.
BCPs, Medrol, baby aspirin, and antibiotics orally.

Really? This is ok to do? I had severe issues with my IUIs and am terrified of ET.
YES!
I get so nervous during ET that my legs shake, and I mean so badly they won't stay in the stirrups. My FET was TERRIBLE, it took way longer to get the catheter in because I was so tense (of course I find this all out after the BFFN). I got 20 mg of valium and it made ALL the difference. My Dr. actually was the one that suggested it

I am so talking to him about this. Seriously my IUIs hurt pretty bad. I can only imagine ET is going to be 10x worse with using the u/s to place even higher in the uterus. OH good times good times!
I just did Femara with my IUI, no trigger. It was only $10 with a coupon.
I just shared that coupon with another friend. That was a find!
For my current IVF attempt I took lupron, GonalF, an HCG trigger shot that cost a total of $4100. I ran out of Gonal F and the Drs office spotted me a sample. I've had other prescriptions - doxy, medrol, cabergoline but even though my insurance doesn't cover IF they covered the meds - I guess they could be used for anything.

Let's see... I was on the LL-5 protocal (long-lupron 5amps) and here's what I had;
PNV
Baby Aspirin
Lupron
Follistim
Menopur
Estradoil Valerate
Prog in Oil
Medrol
Doxycycline
Endometrin
.... and I think that's it. My mind is drawing a blank if there is any more. I have it written down somewhere, let me know if you need more info.
I did exactly the same meds - 3 rounds each.
I've done 3 IUIs
IUI #1: 50mg Clomid, Ovidrel, progesterone suppositories (200mgx2/day)
IUI #2: 20mg Tamoxifen, Ovidrel, progesterone supps (200mgx2/day)
IUI #3: 20 mg Tamoxifen, Progesterone supps (200mgx2/day)
I meet with my doc on Monday to talk about my new plan to do 3 IUIs with injectibles.
