Introduction and Questions

Good morning,

After going through multiple pregnancy losses (in siggy), DH and I are discussing the possibility of adopting. I'm starting the research, but am not quite sure where to begin. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Books, people to talk to, agencies, websites, etc. In addition, Is there anyone from Colorado on here who is or has used an agency in Denver? Please PM me with information. Thanks in advance. I'm excited to begin this journey.

    Hi and welcome,

    We're in the process of putting together an FAQ for the board. If you scroll down, we came up with 9 questions that are often asked here, including "where do I start?". It will have a lot of good resources to get you started.

    I'm not from CO, but there's at least one person from there who posts here, so hopefully you'll get some advice. And don't be afraid to look in other states, or at regional/national agencies, or at law firms or facilitators. There are a lot of ways to go about adoption.
