Applecheeks....size 1 or 2?

Size 1 says up to 20 pounds. DS is right around 12....how accurate is their sizing? Should I wait until he can fit the 2's? Also, how's the absorbancy on these?

I'll be using AppleCheeks as well. I've heard of a lot of babies who fit in size 1 beyond 20lbs, but it depends on their build and if they have really chunky thighs. I haven't used them yet so I can't comment on the absorbency yet but have a number of friends who use them and think they're great.
I should know more in just a few weeks!
