I scheduled my fibroid surgery for this cycle because I was worried next cycle there wouldn't be a Friday that I knew would fall at the right time (well - Black Friday would have... but that's not an option).

I don't know if I'll be able to find someone to work for me that Sunday but my boss will totally be behind me even if I don't - not sure what the other managers will say....

I really wish I could have done it next cycle so that I could be 100% sure I get to do the race I signed up for but DH and I agreed that we'd rather risk me not being able to run than end up having to wait until the end of Jan because of Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I read that as thyroid surgery and was like- what?

I agree and ((HUGS)) it sucks to have to put life on hold for this crap, but I guess we should be used to it by now. I hope everything goes GREAT with your surgery!!
