f/u to BRU Vent

But basically, somehow BRU screwed up when they issued my Rewards account, and it got linked to someone else's name/info, so I wasn't getting any of the rewards credit or anything.  I called over the weekend, and they had to escalate the issue to corporate guest relations.

I just got off the phone with them.  They're sending me a GC for $25 (more than I've actually earned in rewards so far) but I have to make a new Rewards account & link the new one to the registry, etc... and destroy the existing cards.  I'm feeling much better about dealing with them now, and the corporate guest relations person was MUCH nicer & more understanding than the person I talked to over the weekend.

  • Well that's sounds fair. After your OP i had to log in and make sure the stuff that has been purchased off my registry was going through to my rewards account...luckily it was.

    I did this too and luckily mine was as well. The only annoying part is that they don't deliver the rewards via email so they make us wait a good month after each period to get the certs!

    How long do things take to show up on your rewards account? 

    I know some people purchased things (because they told me, and the items were automatically marked off my registry - so i know the registry was scanned), and I know my correct rewards acct number is linked - but those purchases haven't shown up on my rewards acct yet.  Seems strange to me...
