I am the infant teacher in a day care and my son has been going with me since he was 6 weeks. We have cribs and they sleep in the cribs because in Ohio it's a law. Even if the kids fall asleep in the swing or bouncer we have to move them to their cribs. It's kind of silly, but the law is the law I suppose.

That's a good law though!
My DD2 isn't in daycare, I work from home so we have someone come in and care for her and she just wears whatever she has on for the day to nap in.
We were instructed to bring a SwaddleMe blanket for naps. We leave it there all week and bring it home on Friday to wash and take it back on Monday. He sleeps in a crib.

DS will be 3 months and 1 day. He goes back next week. I'm going to be a mess...
They allow infants to sleep in the PnP's, in a bouncy seat in the PnP (for reflux babies I suppose) or even in a swing, although they don't encourage it. They're pretty laid back with the infants. Once he gets a little older he'll be in a crib or in a PnP only.
DD will be 16 weeks- I was able to get the month of November covered by family, so her first day isn't until December 1st. She'll go there 2x a week, my mom is watching her 2x a week, and I'm home on Thursdays.
The month of December will be covered by family...1 week with my husband, 1 week with grandpa, and 2 weeks with grandma and his aunt. They will be watching him at our house and it is just a couple minutes from my work.
DD will be just shy of 4 months when I go back to work. She's going to an in-home daycare, and will sleep in a pnp. I'm not looking forward to it at all.
9months to 1 year. I'm taking that long off. I'm already dreading the tantrum and transition.
The transition may be easier than you think. I took a year off with DS and he adjusted really well. I think he liked being around other children. I'm taking 6 months off this time, and I plan to put her in DC part time maybe the week before I return to work.
Re: How old will your LO be when he/she goes to daycare?
He will be 10 weeks old, and my daycare is my mom
We got my mom a pack-n--play that he will sleep in. It has the bassinet feature, so he can use it for now and when he is bigger.
Edited because I am a dork and read the question wrong!

Mine started a few days after he turned 6 weeks.
