Has anyone ordered any bedding from LandofNod.com? I'm looking at the "Oh What a Beautiful Morning"crib bedding. Has anyone seen this in person? It looks so cute on the website!
I ordered "Oh, What a Beautiful Morning" last week and it came yesterday!
As the customer reviews on the site state, the colors are a bit more vibrant in real life. I think they're even better in person, and they're perfect for a gender neutral room (we are Team Green).
I will say that the sheets and quilt felt a little thin to me, but after comparing them to some other baby bedding sets at Babies R' Us and the like I think they're right on par and a very nice quality for the price. The stitching is gorgeous. (This is my first time, so I am kind of new to all of it.)
We don't have our crib actually set-up yet, so I haven't tried fitting the sheet to the mattress or the changing pad cover, etc.
This weekend we go to find a light yellow paint to match the set. So excited!
Ok, I couldn't find my cameara. These are all from the iPhone, and therefore I don't think they do a very good job showing you the color. (Doesn't help that it's dark and cloudy here and we have no natural sunlight coming in.)
I will say that the chick pillows are really small. I'm showing it here next to our 40-lb. Basenji mix, Diesel. I considered returning them (I think they are $19 each), as I have a few pillows coming in from Etsy that I like better, but I realized they're also perfect for tucking in my purse and bringing along to Babies R' Us, etc. as a color reference.
I'll try and get some better pictures this weekend when we have more natural sunlight, but I hope this at least helps a little! I remember I tried a few Google searches looking for real nurseries with this bedding set and couldn't find much. I'll be posting pictures in about 10 weeks, though, when we start to really make progress on the nursery.
First time PIP -- apologies in advance for any errors!
I think they have free samples for all of their bedding if you want to get some swatches. They did for the pattern that we're interested in.
Baby Boy Born 3.15.11. 8lb 9oz, 21.75in.
6 month stats: 20lb 11oz (92%tile), 30.12in.(100%tile - who knew it went over 99th? Which means 100% of other 6 month olds are shorter than mine!)
I ordered the safari bedding and it should be here in another day. I've heard great things about their products, so I'm glad everyone is happy with their selections so far.
We have the all creatures great and small and LOVE it. Great quality.
We have the same bedding. Love it. I think you can still get free shipping if you spend $100, but they will charge you a return shipping fee. I would definitely email them for a swatch of whatever sets you are looking at (for free). I had them send me 3 or 4 samples so I could see the different sheets and what the sets really looked like. Plus you can buy everything separately if you like some of the other sheets.
There have been very good reviews on here in the past as well.

DS's bedding was from Land of Nod and it's excellent quality. I would definitely recommend their stuff.
