Hi ladies -
My husband is being transferred to Columbus at the end of Nov., and I am trying to get some things in line for the move. We have a one month old baby boy (so sweet!), and I'd like to minimize the stress of a new home as much as possible ![]()
Does anyone have any recommendations for a great OB-GYN?
How about PCP?
Also, looking to have 3 month pics taken in Dec. for our little man, any recommendations for a newborn photographer that you love?
Thanks so much - looking forward to moving up to C-Bus
Re: Intro - New to Columbus, Could use some advice
Columbus OB/GYN is great! I see Dr. Erin Olah, and she is really understanding and kind.
Good luck on your move! And welcome
I also go to Columbus OB/GYN and love my doctor Julie Jones. For pediatrician, we see Dr. Tim Teller at Hilliard Pediatrics and I've liked him so far too.
I have had my sister in law in minneapolis do our baby photos, so I don't have a suggestion for that.
Welcome to Columbus!
I go to Columbus OB-GYN also, and LOVE Dr. Mollie Ezzie. She sees patients at a few different offices, so she may be close no matter which part of the city you wind up in. I think Dr. Jones also saw me one day in the hospital, too. I liked her too.
A lot of people like Rainbow Pediatrics, but I got the creeps from one of the doctors when we visited there. We go to Hand in Hand Pediatrics. LOVE the staff there.
I also go to Columbus OB/GYN & see James Beattie. Julie Jones delivered DD, though (since it was a late night on a weekend), and she was great.
We go to Trivillage Family Practice in the Grandview area and see Dr. Heintz, but I've heard good things about all 3 doctors there.
No recs on photographer. Just don't go to Babies R Us, we tried that because we thought it would be easy, and it was a disaster!
Do you know what part of town you will be living in? We are up in the northern side, so all of our services are based around that area.
For DH & myself we go to Scioto Family Physicians.
For DS, we go to Olentangy Pediatrics.
For OB/GYN I go to Women Physicians in OBGYN. Their office is at Riverside hospital and they have one in Dublin too.
I go to Dr. Costa at Kingsdale OBGYN. Several of my friends have delivered multiple babies with her and have been very pleased. Just schedule your annual appointment about four months in advance to make sure you get the date and time that's most convenient.
I'm with Columbus OB-GYN and I see Dr. Julie Jones.
Good luck!
