Cloth Diapers + Bumbo = Fail

LO's fluffy butt doesn't fit all the way in the bumbo.  Anyone else experience this?  I'm not a huge fan of this thing anyway, he prefers to be in the wrap but it would be nice to have another place to put him while I'm pumping :)

    Yep!  It definitely doesn't help.  Actually LO's legs already get stuck in it :(  Didn't last long.

    We just bought one and it isn't working so well....not sure if it's the fluffy butt or the fact that DS doesn't have enough neck control yet.  Either way it's a big fat fail!

    We have the bebe which seems much better, there isn't a whole heck of a lot of room but he's snug. MIL got a bumbo free from a friend and it was a POS, DS was out of it in about 2 seconds. The bebe has a strap and the tray locks on.

    Ours is the same way.  His little legs/butt are too big so it's a tight/awkard fit and he HATES it.  Oh well.

    I was going to get one, but I think I'll save my money now. My DS's chunky thighs and fluffy butt probably wouldn't fit in it comfortably.

    FWIW, my DS LOVES it.  And I love it too, he sits in it and watches me cook, check emails, etc...  I also bring it into the bathroom and he sits and stares at himself in the mirror while I take care of business.  And I got the tray that attaches and put his toys on it.  He gets mad when the toys fall off but once he has more control over his hands it will be less frustrating.  I've done fingerpainting in the bumbo and this weekend we are going to carve our pumpkin and let him play with the insides sitting in it.

    I tried the bumbo when DS was younger and he was able to straighten out his whole body and almost flipped backwards out of it.  It was very scary and I barely caught him and I will never ever use one again!  I might have waited until he was too big for it but he was still the recommended age for it.
