Turkey Baby

I had an appointment with my Perinatologist today and found out I'm having a turkey baby at the latest.

My baby is measuring great on all counts- he's 5 lbs, 9 oz and in the 44th percentile. I'm the one falling apart. :)

I've got weekly specialist check ups and ultrasounds for the next 4 weeks. The Peri told me that he will only allow my pregnancy to continue to 38 weeks (which happens to be the week of Thanksgiving) unless my condition deteriorates further in the meantime.

I'll upload a few more 4D pictures a little later.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around holding my son in 4 weeks or less. I keep telling myself that I'm ready but omg, I'm not ready! lol

    You and I will have Turkey Babies together! My induction is scheduled for the weekend before Thanksgiving! 

    We are in the home stretch!!! Can you believe it?

    I really can't believe it. I can remember when you and I (and maybe 2 others) were the only people on the Dec board. Where did these 9 months go?

    I'll probably be setting up the induction at next week's appointment. Mr Techie was happy- he said it would give him an extra 3 or 4 days home with us without having to use vacation days, lol.

    Congrats to both of you trail blazers. We're all counting on you to learn everything and pass on the wisdom to the rest of us. Big Smile  Can't wait to see your beautiful babies! I hope someone has the good sense to bring you your favorite Thanksgiving pie while you're in the hospital. It's wonderful to have a turkey baby, but would be terrible to miss out on the delicious pie.

    Wow.... back when the December board was empty! That feels like forever ago, but then again it doesn't. I can't believe we are at the end already. I keep having to slap myself into the idea that in 3 1/2 weeks or so I will have a BABY! I mean, I knew it was coming, but c'mon!!? : )) I can't wait to see their faces though... and flip out together about all the parenting stuff.

    I am petrified of being someone's mom. Well, I go back and forth. One day, I am so excited I can hardly stand it. The next day, I'm 100% freaked out by everything. Fun times!

    Wow...you two are making me pretty nervous, since soon after you have your babies I'll be having mine!  And I don't feel ready and I (hopefully) have more time!

    :-) Little man and I will likely be in the same boat as long as he doesn't decide to be a Pumpkin baby when I come off bed rest this week. It is insane to think it could happen so fast, but at the same time I can't wait to meet him!
