Re: How much weight has everyone gained thus far!?
13 lb so far, but we'll see what the coming weeks will bring.
At my last ob appointment I was up 14lbs. I'm really hoping to keep it under 20lbs overall, and if I do 1lb/week from now until I'm due it would be ideal for me.
PS
I was overweight pre-pg, so I was really hoping to keep the weight gain to a minimum.
So far I'm still down 9 pounds from what I weighed the month before I got pregnant.
Edit: For the record, I was NOT overweight before pregnancy.
Man! Y'all are so lucky! I have gained a whopping 32 pounds! I didn't want to go over 20. Yeah...I blew that. haha I'm hoping NOW to keep it under 40! Good news is I think it's mostly belly...yet I can tell in my hips that they are slightly bigger.
ETA: At my very first appointment with my MW, she told me that they'd like to see me gain more than the average pregnant woman. The average pregnant woman should gain 25-35 pounds. I told her there's no way. haha
It's so weird how different we all are. I have a really small bump. People can't believe I'm 7 months pregnant, and my OB says I'm measuring a bit small. Yet I've gained 25 lbs already.
This exactly.
32 lbs as of 5 days ago.
28 max was my goal, but now I will settle for 40 max.
I am right at 20 lbs.
So far I've gained 32 pounds. And I've got 6 weeks left and they say you usually gain about a pound a week for the last month. So I have do doubts that I'll be close to 40 pounds when all is said and done, but I've accepted it and am not as freaked out as I used to be.
I was tiny pre-pregnancy at only 5'4" and 116 pounds, so my BMI was borderline between underweight and normal. And they say the average gain is 25-35 pounds, so even if I'm close to a 40 pound gain that's not so bad considering how skinny I was back in March.

All are welcome in my posts
Hey lulu, How much are you still down from your pre-preg weight??
Okay, I'll be brave and say it without excuses--
I have gained 60 lbs.
According to my doctor's paperwork - 26 lbs... but that's not really the case.
I gained 5-10 lbs for my first pregnancy which ended in m/c right before this pregnancy.... My dr. is good with my weight gain so I don't mind too much...

I'm now only down 4lbs from pre-preg. weight. I had an appointment yesterday and a big fat booooo to losing the rest of weight I had worked to gain. I'm measuring on track still and he's growing like a weed (the kid is ridiculously long) so I don't know what to think about it anymore, I guess I'm not going to worry. Paige-y-poo still measuring alright?
Eh, last Dr. appointment my fundal height didn't go up. At 34 weeks it measured 31. I have an appointment on Thursday and another ultrasound next week. Last one she was in the normal growth classification.
