a warning?

I just found out i was pregnant. I had my first visit yesterday and they told me i'm 5 weeks along. (yes, we found out real early).Last night i had some spotting and i blew it off cause they told me it's normal. it carried over into today and i'm still seeing it. the best way i can describe it is like a light pink color almost like i'm having a very light period. I called my Dr. and the nurse said it's normal, not to worry. but i'm not comfortable with this, it's making me scared. does anyone have any advice?

    It's really very common in early pregnancy. Take your doctor's advice and try not to worry unless it turns bright red and you need to waer a pad.

    I had spotting for 2-3 days in week 4 of my first pregnancy. You'll see it asked about here a lot too. Good luck!

    My advice is it's normal and to stop worrying

    Worrying isn't going to help anything and it's stopping you from enjoying your pregnancy today  :)

    This is normal and is probably just implantation bleeding.  Some women can have a full period anytime during their pregnancy.  I know it's hard but for your baby's health you have to try not to worry.  If you experience strong cramping that doesn't go away or the bleeding gets heavy then call your doctor.

    Try not to worry.  It can be perfectly normal.  Try to relax and enjoy the fact that you are pregnant today.

    I agree with the other ladies, don't let it bug you. It can be caused by a number of things. I would give the doctor a call though, and just let them know!

    I did call my doctor, twice. both times the nurse told me light pink, bright red are normal along with cramping; that it's most likely from my exam yesterday. I wasn't convinced, but i'm relaxed now, knowing i'm not the only one. thanks girls.

    i found out at 4 weeks im now 9 weeks and i had spotting but its normal my dr said the baby find and everything so dont worry congrations... how do u guys getr ur tickers each time u write something??
