exclusive breast feeder?

I saw a few of these badges around these parts lately.

How do you know you'll exclusively breast feed if you haven't done it yet?  What if there are issues, etc?  Or is it more of a "I hope to be a...." thing.

    Hmmm, it's kind of weird if people are using it before the baby is born unless they already had one kiddo who was breastfed.  I haven't noticed it on our board.

    Maybe they've already had a baby? Otherwise I guess its a plan to sort of thing.

    I can't specifically think of anyone who has the badge but I assume they were an exclusive breast feeder with prior kiddos.

    Meh. I've never really understood the point of a lot of those badges anyways. I BF DS until he was 2, & only supplemented formula/ used bottles a handful of times, & I still feel that means I didn't exclusively BF. To me "exclusively" means "nothing but the boob", & I doubt all these ladies sporting those badges never give a bottle to baby, or never will.

    It's kind of silly IMO, but to each her own.

    Plus, after you start weaning, they're not EBF any more.
