4cm!!!!!! WTF? How am I not in labor? Membranes stripped and I am crampy and have some bloody show.... barf. I think he might just fall out with no labor, haha. Hoping tonights the night but not holding my breath.
How are you doing/ feeling?

Oh WOW! You are definitely going to go first. Just sling a moby between your knees, so you can catch him when he falls out. No big deal.
Funny - I had something (can't remember exactly) but I know it had the potential to make me gassy; I want to say baked beans were involved.
Lyons - love the moby mental picture. My coworker turned to see what I was laughing at when I read that.
Anyway, when I woke up with my first contractions, I thought I was just having...uh..intestinal upset from my dinner. LOL So I second the gas-inducing dinner tonight.
OK, on to my appointment. I am only a fingertip dilated which is odd because I was already 3cm and 90% effaced at this point with DD. My cervix is soft but still pretty thick.
At my u/s they said the baby 'passed' - I asked what the whole biophysical profile was and that was to measure my amniotic fluid (still high - so I decided to google which was not a good idea) and that they measure movements and he gets 30 minutes to move 3 times and then he passes. If he wouldn't have passed, then they would have said that the baby needed to be delivered - WTF?! Don't you think they should/would have told me before today's appointment? I might have actually had a bag ready or something. That matching old navy mother's pj's and baby gown that someone posted shipped out to me yesterday...yep, I caved and bought it.
So, we go back next week for another u/s - he said Monday or Tuesday but Monday was all booked up so we go Tuesday morning. Then the doc surprised me and said that we can talk about inducing me after that....eeek! Not sure I am ready for that. I would rather go when the baby is ready unless there is some medical reason to get him out....sigh....we shall see!

Ahhhhh! I totally want that! I missed my opportunity, last week, when Old Navy emailed me with a 25% off (+ free shipping) offer.
You BOTH might go before me!
Oh wow, I didn't get that deal although I ended up spending $50 and used a code to get free shipping and I think I got 15% off - at any rate, it was only right about $20 for the set which I didn't think was too bad.
You never know when you will go - when is your appointment this week?
Re: **sprads & Mrs.Coolest**
Now there's a mental picture...
LMAO!

I had Taco Hell the night before I went into labor with DD. Great for me, not so much for the hospital staff.
For the same reason, DH has prohibited me from eating red meat for the last week...just to be "safe."
You tell him that the day he pushes an 8 lb fetus out of his hoo-ha, is the day he gets to dictate what you eat. Pffffft.
Honestly. Do you doubt, for one second, that wasn't my response to his *prohibition* request? I thought you knew me.
I agree with Warrior!
