Apparently my older-than-dirt ipod nano is corrupted and itunes is telling me it needs to be restored in order to sync with itunes. It will erase all of my media, but how can I back up my songs before doing so? We haven't used the ipod/itunes with this laptop yet and lost all the songs we had in itunes when our macbook died last year -- so my ipod is the only access we have to that music right now.
Boo.
Please tell me there's a way to get these songs saved to the computer before we restore the ipod? Pretty please.
UPDATE: Nevermind. All our songs are gone already. I did not click to restore, but looks like the update erased everything already anyway. I could vomit. There were hundreds of songs on there. And they're gone.
Re: NBR: ipod question... {nevermind}
That happened to me a few months ago. I cried. And maybe threw the f'ing ipod.
I'm sorry.
I hope you eventually pull your music together again. Itunes will give you everything you paid for back. Maybe you'll find some newer and older great music as well.
