Where can I get veggie corn dogs?

I know I'm not supposed to eat hot dogs, but the other day corn dogs sounded like the bestthingonearth (it may or may not have been after hearing about Froggy's State Fair corn dogs). We looked at the HEB in Pville (corner of Dessau and Pecan) but they don't carry veggie corn dogs. Anyone know where I can score some?

Did you check the freezer section for the Morningstar Farm ones? I stopped eating their stuff because the ingredients list is longer than War & Peace, but they're pretty good.

I think I've seen them at most HEBs and Randalls.

As long as they are cooked properly, you can eat hot dogs/corn dogs. Use a meat thermometer to check their temperature if you are worried.

Unless, of course, it's not the risk of listeria, but the risk of all the stuff they put in hot dogs/corn dogs that is bothering you.

I did! I even had them call a manager to find out if they were just out or if they don't carry them at all. I was determined. Wink Oh...and they don't carry them at all. Harrumph. Maybe I'll just check another location.

You should be able to request them to start carrying them. H-E-B is usually pretty good about that.

I was just about to post this. When I was pregnant with Jackson, I craved Morningstar veggie dogs like crazy, and that's right about the time they discontinued them--grrr!

I've gone to all the HEBs in my area and I cannot for the life of me find the Morning Star hot dogs. Maybe we're looking in the wrong section. Maybe they're not with the Morning Star stuff but maybe with the corndogs. IDK.
