My DD HATES having her teeth brushed. She literally puts a lock down on her mouth and refusing to open up and it's a constant struggle. I have tried using water only and also the baby toothpaste and she won't have anything to do with either one. How have you gotten your child to allow you to brush their teeth and better yet, how to like having it done?
Re: Brushing teeth - how to get them to like it?
I don't really have any tips, but I am going through the exact same thing. It's a pain, isn't it??

My ds loves to have his teeth brushed. I think he just likes the taste of the toothpaste. We use the baby orajel kind. We also use the rubber applicator brush, It just slips on your finger and has little rubber bristles.
Have you tried different kinds of toothpaste, maybe she doesnt like that taste of the one you are using? Maybe try a different brush..like the applicator one? GL!
