Hey! I'm researching hospitals around the eastern Jackson County area, mainly Indep, BS, and LS. I've heard lots of wonderful things about St. Luke's East- any opinions on having a baby there?? Thanks!
I know several women who delivered there and had a great experience. They don't accept our insurance and I delivered at St. Mary's in BS. I loved it there! I don't have a single negative comment about the place. The staff was wonderful, the food service and choices where great, clean and just wonderful.
I delivered there last year and have nothing but great things to say... the nurses and staff were amazing...even helping to run interference with my crazy, overly excited family... I spent 5 days there and the entire time was very nice... accomodations were spacious and everything was new... my hubby could access wi-fi or watch the movies on the in demand system.
I will definitely be going back when we have baby number 2
You just need to request to not have a nurse by the name of Anna Marie or Anne Marie. i can't remember which. I've had 2 friends deliver there and they both had her for 1 night. They say that she single handedly reuined their stay at this hospital.
