Did you not ovulate? What was the test they ran that prompted them to up the clomid?
Oh sorry, they do a progesterone draw every month when you're on Clomid (or they're supposed to anyway). I didn't ask what the number was, but I knew that meant I hadn't ovulated.
Connor Thomas 6/6/08. Discovered missed miscarriage at 17 wks 3 days, D&C 11/25/09.
Please, please, please - BFP 5/21/11, EDD 2/1/11. Beta@12DPO=52, Beta@14DPO=158. U/S 7/7/11 shows strong baby measuring a couple days ahead!!!
Bleh. I'm sorry, Court. I really hope the 100mg does the trick (with minimal/no side effects). ::Fingers crossed:: I'm glad that you've got a back-up plan with the RE, just in case.
Really, really hope this is your cycle!!!

I'm sorry! I second the thought of trying a trigger shot and if not this month I bet the RE will do it anyway. I promise you there are drugs out there that can make you ovulate.

I know how frustrating this entire process is. It sucks balls.
I didn't respond that well to my first cycle on clomid, 50mg. My progesterone wasn't high enough to support a pregnancy. But 100mg worked much better. We had to add IUI because I had hostile cm but got pregnant twice on 100mg clomid and IUI! Has your dr mentioned doing a post-coital test to make sure the sperm is swimming? Def ask about this so you know if you should be adding IUI.
ETA: I just saw that you're still with your OB. I would recommend moving on to an RE and not doing another cycle with your OB. It seems that a lot of OB's don't do the proper monitoring of clomid...mid cycle blood work, ultrasounds, post-coital tests. Remember, an OB isn't a fertility specialist, their job is to keep you pregnant. An RE's job is to get you pregnant. RE's are much more knowledgeable and thorough with the whole infertility process.

Ugh that sucks.
It sounds to me like you need to be monitored more. Are you thinking of switching to an RE?
Yeah, next cycle's my last with the OB before moving on.
I wonder if your OB would prescribe you an HCG trigger to use this coming cycle to make sure that you ovulate?
