howdy! it's been forever since i've been on here.
i am going to my ob/gyn next week for my annual and to talk about my DH and i wanting to start trying to get pregnant in the spring. i'm wondering if there's anything i should bring up with my doctor, ask or need to know about starting this process.
Re: what to ask my ob/gyn
I asked about TTC at an annual and was just told to start taking prenatals and to let them know if we were unsuccessful after 8-12months. Unless you have preexisting conditions that might interfere with getting PG, I think they pretty much just say 'go for it!' at first.
Good luck, though!!

I had to stop my daily preventative completely (topamax). To treat my migraines, I basically ended up with 2 prescriptions. I could take my regular migraine med (treximet) the first 2 weeks of my cycle when I knew I wasn't pregnant and then take a safer med (hydrocodone) during the 2 week wait. Once I got my BFP I switched only to hydrocodone. I hope that makes sense.
do you have pretty regular cycles? if so, I'm assuming they'd make you wait 8-ish months, like pp mentioned. ask about charting if you have questions about that as well.
if you don't, ask what the next steps would be.
