Thanks! These were life savers when C was cutting his first two teeth. We just started using them again this weekend b/c he is showing signs of the cutting his top teeth.

Uh yeah... that bit about children taking too many because the bottle doesn't have a safety cap? Been there, done that. I fished the cap and a few too many tablets out of Cooper's mouth this weekend. Fortunately he was more interested in eating the cap than the tablets.
My big boy is bounding towards 4! Baby brother coming in October!
We tried them with DD but I'm not convinced they did anything for her. We still have them around but considering she only has 2 molars left and I don't think I ever finished a bottle obviously we didn't really use them. That is scary stuff though.
The article notes a quote from the FDA where they say they have't "evaluated Hyland's for safety."
These are very effective for Mathis (althot hey weren't for Tru) and I am glad I have 3 bottles at home now that I can't buy them anymore.
I'm so glad that you posted this because Ally has been teething for a couple of months now. She's on tooth 9 and 10 and it takes 2 weeks or so for each one to cut. Last night was the first night that I didn't give her 3 tablets before bed (that's all I give her in a 24 hour period), and it was HELL. The baby that started STTN was waking up again every hour crying like crazy last night. But 2am, I was so exhausted that I told DH just to give her 2 tablets. She finally slept until 6am this morning. This is the only thing that works on her and in the past 2 months, I haven't seen any issues. And with Emmy, we used it a lot, and had no issues with her either. So we will most likely stick to doing what we have been doing. I did buy Camilia today and was planning on using that instead. I may try it out as an alternative.
Re: Teething tablets
Thanks for posting this! We used these with G, but they didn't really help him much.
Scary stuff.
Dx: PCOS and short luteal phase
18 cycles (3 with our RE) - Metformin + Clomid + HCG booster did the trick!
BFP #1 6/22/09 EDD: 3/2/10 DS born: 3/8/10
TTC #2 since Dec 2011
BFP #2 7/8/12 EDD: 3/18/12 M/C @ 9w1d: 8/16/12
These don't seem to have an effect on DS, so we won't be using them anymore.
I wonder why nothing is on the Hyland site?
EDI't: Just saw the press link...
Interesting other side of the story
