I've been waking up in the mornings lately with swollen fingers and it sucks and is kinda uncomfortable! Anything I can do to make the swelling go down???? I usually swell after being outside, not when waking up.
Same thing here. My fingers are all pink and puffy in the morning. Yuck! If you hold your hands up over your head for a while, it helps. Rinsing them in cold water helps the tightness/discomfort.
Oh yeah, there's no hope for my feet. Thank goodness I'm in the south and can still get away with flip flops. If I wear my heels or even my tennis shoes, it's game over.
I'll try the cold water rinsing. The tightness is what bugs me the most.
Yep it has been happening to me for about 2 weeks now. I have to take my rings off before I go to bed. I try to reduce the swelling and pain my running them under cool water and keeping them above my heart as much as possible. It seems to be worse if I got hot during the night.
Oh yeah! My fingers are swollen in the morning. They also feel really tight. It goes away, but is not too fun. My feet are the same, for now. I only wear flip flops to work, so my feet will be fine no matter what.
fingers have been swelling for about a month, are tight, hurt, numb sometimes, and i have carpeltunnel-like symptoms in some fingers, can't even make them go straight, they stay bent for a while.
to help with the swelling or pain i usually massage my hands, roll my shoulders, get the blood flowing. it goes down some, but are just staying swollen now.
i've been having this too. in the middle of the night and when i wake up in the morning i can barely move my fingers! it is really uncomfortable! i run them under cold water and try to massage then as best i can it goes away in 30 mins or so. i hope it doesn't get worse.... it also happens if i get too hot. and as for wedding rings i can't wear them at all
