who else is preparing for some crazy weather today?

They are saying severe storms and wind gusts up to 70 mph. Whoa! Not to mention that it's about 75 degrees out. Sooo weird considering it's almost November!  Anyone else predicted to have crazy weather today??

    Its crazy over here.  If you stop and watch the clouds they are moving so fast!  I think there is actually a tornado watch in place already.

    Yep, it's so warm here in MI. The wind really isn't bad yet, but they are saying by lunch time we could see straightline winds of 60mph.?

    And I had lunch plans w/ an old co-worker. Boo!

    We've had it since last night. Wind gusts up to 50 MPH, and the high country has received 2 ft of snow already. Some mountain highways where shut down yesterday due to near white out conditions!

    Yea strong winds and server thunderstorms are headed our way. I hope it waits till I get home or gets over with before I leave work at 3:30

    Windy here! There's been 1 tornado, possibly 2.  Gloomy then bright (not sunny but not gloomy) then gloomy and rainy. Winds holding well over 30 mph, gusting to 60+ mph. 

    Tornado watch pretty much all day. Just crazy for this time of year.  They are calling it the "Worst storm in 70 years" it was 73* when I got up, its now down to 62*.

    This storm is moving towards me right now! I am so dreading it. There is already a lot of power outages and powerlines are falling crazy from this wind. I just hope we dont get any tornados here.

    This storm is moving towards me right now! I am so dreading it. There is already a lot of power outages and powerlines are falling crazy from this wind. I just hope we dont get any tornados here.

    It's bad, but so far it isn't as bad as I think the news made it sound. There have been some power outtages, but most of it is west of where I'm at (at least that I've heard about) the news made it sound like the world is coming to an end. The city of Chicago held a press confrence last night about it.

    The wind has been blowing so hard all night and today...though it's sunny and clear the wind is non-stop and the gust are also in the 60's and 70's mph range.

    Supposedly the storms are coming soon to this area with 60+ mph winds.  DS has physical therapy at 3:00 which is right in the range of time that the worst winds are supposed to hit.  I am wondering if I should cancel it.  I don't want to risk driving if there are falling trees and power lines.
