    I hope everything is okay. They would scare the crap outta me too. We have lahar sirens here (in case Mt. Rainier blows), I might pee myself if one ever goes off for real....

    well crap. Campus just sent an emergency text saying there is a tornado close to campus and to take cover now. Now I have to worry about H.

    Stay safe Irish!  We have a tornado warning too here in Cincinnati.  I am at work and Aidan is at DC....making me nervous.

    Definitely the worst sound ever. We haven't had a tornado here in a while, but just the sound of them makes me nervous. My oldest sister had her best friend die in a tornado a few years ago and she just recently got to the point that she doesn't cry hysterically when they test them.

    Stay safe Irish. Prepare to get your safe place just in case. Some years I had a tornado hit my house at night. I didn't even hear the siren. I just heard the roaring of the tornado and made it to my closet right in time. The good news is that tornadoes move fast so it will all be over soon.

    I assume you are either in, or near, South Bend? Hubby just passed through there last night, now he's on to Columbus. We're up in (near) Detroit, and they are calling for similiar weather here today. We're already under a tornado watch. Great. I hope you guys are OK ---- keep us posted when you can!
