Potty Training

should I start potty training?

I haven't even thought about potty training because my DD is only 19 months. But yesterday at her babysitters she said "poo poo" The sitter put her on the potty and she went. Then this morning when I went to get her up the first thing she said to me was "pee pee" I took her diaper off and she sat on the potty and peed just a few drops, lol. Also her diaper was pretty wet this morning. What do I do? Do I start potty training? I don't want to push her since she so young, but I also don't want to hold her back if she is showing interest. What do I do?

Re: should I start potty training?

  • If she's showing interest there's no harm in trying. You've got nothing to lose so to speak!

  • Our DD is potty trained, it has been 3 weeks now, with only 3 accidents.

She leaned how to take her diaper off, then she sat down on the potty and went and hasn't looked back.  knock-on-wood.

If they are showing interest, embrace it.
