I like the straight arms. I use the arms on my glider for nursing, for snuggling with DD, and she leans against them. Straight arms would be easier I think, plus I think they look nicer.

I love the look of the sloped arms, but for nursing? I'd absolutely want straight arms. For me, the higher the better, too. I love using the arm chair my parents have that has high arms.

Also I think the straight armed chair is more versatile and would go with more styles of decor than the sloped arm.

Ditto this. Just more comfy for nursing.
