So I have found a bedding I have fallen in love with. It's under the "Girl" section but my question is if I leave a few items out and change the curtains could I pull it off if I have a boy? Here is the bedding. I like the valance but would want to put black curtains in if the baby is a boy. What do you think?

Love that bedding. I have a friend who is due in about 4 weeks who is using that same bedding for her little girl. I'm no good with judging it for a little boy though...hopefully someone can give you a bit more insight on that one

It doesn't scream girl to me unless you use more of that damansk type print. I think if you used more the geometric lines and that green valance then you'd be fine. Plus I think that's something you could make girl or boy and then use for later.

I think it could work for a boy, but, I bought our first set of bedding before I found out the sex of our baby and wound up buying another set later because it didn't feel girlie enough for me. I would suggest waiting {if you can!} to buy big purchases like that.

I love it for a girl or boy. If you have a boy, I'd do black curtains. Since we were Team Green, our bedding could go either way and I did black curtains to "boy" it up a little bit.

I like it. I am trying to imagine it w/out the black and white curtain. If you just look at the crib I think it would work w/ the black curtain.

I really love the bedding. I had a hard time finding things I like that featured black rather than brown. It is girlie to me but if you have your heart set on it, make it work!

I really like the bedding and think it would work fine as a unisex bedding. (honestly, the colors look more boyish to me.)

If it were a boy, I would just play up the black and use some fabrics in other patterns for the drapes or other fabrics in the room. (You could use a black and white polka dot fabric, solid black or a black and white gingham to downplay the paisley design.)
