So my challenge lately has been to turn normal stove top/oven meals into crock pot meals b/c I try to go to the gym after work on some nights. Today I decided to try my potato soup recipe that I usually make on the stove top and just throw it into the crock pot. When I got home the milk had separated and appeared almost curdled. I then decided to look online at crockpot recipes for potato soup and found that you shouldn't add the milk until the last hour or 30 minutes b/c all day in the crock pot causes it to curdle.
Re: NBR: Note to self-milk in crock pot does not turn out well.

Baby Sister is coming soon!
We used 2% and it still curdled.
. Tomorrow night is a dairy free fajita recipe so we shall see how that goes. I might google a few recipes for fajitas in crock pot before I just throw the stuff in the pot like I usually do.
I turned noodles into mush and ruined what should have been three meals worth of soup into garbage the other day. I was so mad. I planned on freezing it to use later.
I HATE when I do that.
Good to know about the milk too. Never thought about it.
