Morning diaper blow-outs

The past couple of weeks, Stella has pretty much quit pooping from about 8pm until sometime in mid-morning/early afternoon.  So, her first diaper is explosive and usually results in poop all over the place.  She's soaking her clothes and makes a mess to clean up.  Is there anything I can do to help keep this BM under control in the diaper?

    I found going up a size in diapers help keep things under control, and I also swear by Target diapers. We had blowouts in every other kind we tried, but Target do a fantastic job of keeping things contained (well minus the time I missed a dirty diaper while she was in the jumperoo, that wasn't pretty).  Yay for not pooping at night though!  It makes thing so much easier.

    you could always switch to cloth =P OR you could go with Superchicys suggestion... I swear by Target diapers for Ben as well. They worked fantastically for us over the years.

    I would also recommend experimenting with a few different brands of diapers.  Pampers Swaddlers worked great in the beginning; but we've since moved to a combination of Target dipes (for, day) and Huggies Overnights (for night).

    I pretty much agree with everyone else.  We use a combo of a size larger at night (on one kid) in a different brand than we use during the day; and double diapering the other kid.

    Target diapers fit really, really nice, better than any I've tried, and they hold in EVERYTHING.

    Ditto everyone on going up a size. Also, when we started having the "poop-splosians" as we call them at my house (LOL) we moved from Pampers Swaddlers to Huggies Snugglers. They have an extra flap in the back that seemed to help. Good luck!
