If you are trick-or-treating, where do you go?

  • We just go through our neighborhood. The houses are close together and there are so many kids so it's really safe because there are parents everywhere. :)

  • I think it depends on where you live. My neighborhood is safe, as far as neighbors go, but on some streets there are no sidewalks and/or street lights making it pretty dangerous. I've lived in our house 3 years and I've never had a trick or treater come to my house.

I grew up in West Linn, and mosk kids went trick or treating in the "newer" neighborhoods on the hill. There were sidewalks on every street and they were all very well lit.

  • We're just going to go to a couple of our neighbor's houses. Keeping it small this year. We're basically just taking her to the neighbors who will want to see her in her costume.

As DD gets older, we'll just do our our block and maybe one block over. It's a bunch of families, we know most of them at least at neighborly wave level, and that's plenty of trick-or-treating.
