Cloth Diapering

Best Place to Sell Cloth Diapers

Hi -- I have a stash of 12 BUmGenius XS diapers that I only used for 2 weeks because my daughter's skin breaks out when in contact with the microfiber.  I tried different detergents, dawn soap, etc that were recommended, but the rash persisted and got worse.  So I have these practically unused diapers that I'd like to sell along with some microfiber wipes that I purchased before she was born.  Where is the best place to do this?  I thought of ebay but realized that maybe there were better places?  Thanks so much for your help!

Re: Best Place to Sell Cloth Diapers

  • IMHO, if I can sell it locally on Craigslist I do. I like not shipping and not paying Paypal fees. I would start there and see if anyone local is looking for them.

    Other places:

diaperswappers.com *you need to have some posting history to post pictures.

Spot's Corner *I believe there is a fee to list items.

I'd lurk around on both of these sites and get familiar with posting policies, etc.

You can also post on swap spot on the bump. And you've just posted them here so if someone is interested they will contact you.

    Good luck!

  • Thanks so much ladies for the help, I really appreciate it!
  • Have you tried not having the MF against her skin? I don't think its good because it wicks away all of the moisture in her skin. Or is it the fleece that is causing the rash?

  • Is there a way to do that with these diapers without using an insert?  I did cut some pieces of fleece material and lay them in the diaper (like an insert) and she still broke out.  It was like a bright red rash but had large raised bumps that were really raw....  I figured it had to be the detergent I was using and some ladies on here suggested Tide Free, Allens, just Dawn, just hot water... and she still broke out.  ;(  Maybe I missed something?
