I have 5 oz left. He doesn't really take it out of sippies anymore, and if I'm not around he won't take a bedtime bottle. I guess I'm just going to send it to MIL's on Friday night and assume he drinks it. I will ask her to not tell me if she has to dump it.
Um, yeah. The Bump be too crazy for pics of my kid.
DD had frozen EBM until 18.5 months. The longer the better- put it in a sippy cup or, if you really don't want to for some reason, donate it. Milkshare will allow you to make private transactions with other mothers in need- I urge you not to throw it out.
Whatever you do, DO NOT dump the milk. Try mixing 1/4 of it with regular milk or whatever LO is drinking. If all else fails, google or call hospitals and they will know who you can donate to. Please don't dump it. So many babies could use it.
I need to dump mine too. I haven't pumped since August, and it is all getting old. Most of it is 4-5 months old now. DS drinks milk just fine and it is only about 50 oz. I know the milk bank here only takes 200 oz and up. I feel bad throwing it out, but I don't knwo if anyone will want such a small amount of old BM.
Re: im going to do the dump tonight
This! Do not waste that BM...the longer LO has it, the better.
for some reason he wont take it in his sippy ... also wont take regular milk too!
ive been mixing whole milk with OJ, so maybe ill mix BM with OJ instead.
for those of you who put BM in sippy, do you heat it up first?
