Favorite comfort foods

Now that Fall really feels like it's here, I wanna know what your favorite comfort foods, easy and/or crockpot recipes, and casserole/baked dishes are.

Bonus if you post the recipes too!! :)

Re: Favorite comfort foods

  • Chicken Pot pie. This was on our menu last week and the frozen leftovers this week! I don't use the strips though (it's not a pie without a real crust!)-If I do small personal sized ramekins I take one already made pie crust and use the ramekins to make the circles for the tops. Then I use the leftover crust to fill in the bottom of the ramekin-I usually pre-bake the bottom for a few minutes too. But I only make for 2 people so one crust works. I had so much leftover I filled my larger corningware casserole with them and put the plastic lid on and put it in the freezer. This week I'll thaw it and use the remaing already made pie crust to top the whole thing.
