Did First Response work for you early?

in 1st Trimester

Just curious. When I was PG with DS I did the clear blue digital 5 days sooner than missed period and it came out neg. Then I did first response after my missed period and it came out positive.

My period isn't due until next week, but I'm afraid if I test now it'll come out neg either way. I have the First Response test. (I just don't want to waste a test.) Oh how fun the waiting period is......

Just curious if the FR test worked for you early :-) Thanks!

    Nope, not until the day of my missed period! That was part of the reason I was a little schocked, I had already convinced myself that I wasn't!

    FRER was positive at 9dpo for me. I didn't try it any earlier than that, but I wish I had! I would love to know if it would have worked "6 days before my missed period"

    I used First Response 3 days before my missed period and got a positive result......Good Luck!!

    I got a negative 5 days before my missed period and positive the day before. If you look on the side of the box it tells you the percentages of postives how many days before - if I recall only 25% or lower turn out positive 5 days before and it goes up from there.

    No, had the digital First response test.  I took it 2 days after missed period, and it was negative.  I did a cheap CVS brand 2 days after that and it was positive!

    I used First Response at 8 dpo with FMU (5 days before my missed period) and got a positive.  I got a positive on a digital with FMU at 10 dpo.

    I've never gotten a bfp on ANY pregnancy test earlier than 14 DPO.

    It actaully worked 6+ days before my missed period, but I had a longer LP than most and was already 12 dpo when I tested.

    First Response gave me a positive result 6 days before my period was due.  I didn't try to test earlier than that.  Good luck!

    Thanks! I'll be testing in a few days then if I get bfn, I'll wait until my missed period.

    I tested 4 days before AF was due with FRER and there was a very, very faint 2nd line.

    It worked for me.  I used FRER at 10 DPO and 5 days before my missed period and I got a faint line.  GL

    I had a negative result 5 days prior, and a positive result when I was two days late.

    Yep. 11 days past trigger, so 9-10 DPO. And honestly, there was a faint something the day before as well.

    And I was testing out the trigger, so I know it wasn't picking up left over Ovidrel.

    With both DS and this LO, I got my BFP about 5 days before I missed AF (or about 10dpo).  Neither were the digitals, just the regular FR

    I got a positive at 8 dpo with the First Response. They got darker the next couple days.

    I took mine 6 days before the missed period and got a VERY dark line!  Here's the picture I took of it afterwards lolimage

    07/2014- emergency surgery to remove hemorrhaging cyst first RE missed, removed endo from fallopian tubes, hsg done, d&c performed to remove polyphs in uterus, femvue done, put on dexamethasone and metformin
    08/2014- miscarriage, second RE refuses to mark down in charts, switch again
    03/2016- IUI #1, waiting for results on April 17

    Same here! I tested the day of my missed period thinking/KNOWING I wasn't pregnant....Well, I was! Still in shock.

    I didn't temp or anything like that, so I don't know how many DPO I was, but I got a pos result on an FRER at 3w2d.

    It worked for me 13 DPO, but I did not try any sooner than that. I only tested because my symptoms felt different than AF symptoms and I wanted to see if I could drink later that day.
