Fert report

I had my ER on Saturday - they retrieved 16. Unfortunately only 11 were mature and only 6 fertilized (with ICSI) not a great fertilization rate...but 6 is better than nothing. We're hoping they all make it to Thurs and then we'll freeze while they do the PGD, the nurse said they could call on Wed and say we're doing a fresh transfer (which they are still willing to do despite the OHSS) if the embies don't look like they'll survive the freeze.

Thanks for all the well wishes. I'm feeling MUCH better than I did on Friday.

    I am glad you are feeling better!! 

    It sounds like you should have at least 4 to pick from by transfer date, which is really good!!  We had 11 retrieved, 7 fertilize and 4 made it to transfer/freeze day.  I am going to send you all kinds of good vibes.  Do you know how many you plan on using for your first transfer?

    I am so glad you are feeling better.  You sound disappointed, but hopefully those 6 are all you need.  I will be thinking good thoughts for you and your embies!

    My RE hasn't even discussed it with me...but of course I'm already obsessing.  I'm thinking probably two. So hopefully we'll have more than we need.
