Nightmares

So I keep having nightmares about losing the baby. Is this just normal anxiety? Obviously, I know dreams aren't real, but just wondering if anyone else has been having these nightmares.

    Had one last night....had a dream I was bleeding..like a heavy period, then I drove to the doctor, rather than the hospital. weird...but scary =(

    I have CRAZY pregnancy dreams. My dreams have always been really vivid and weird, but it's ten-fold with the preggo hormones.

    I had a dream the other night that my baby boy was born and then started growing at an abnormally quick rate. He was talking at two weeks... etc. And the whole dream was narrated by one of my students that follows me around at school and talks... all day. lol

    The hormones screw with your dreams. Dreams will often be very vivid and yes, it is very common to have very terrible, graphic nightmares.

    I have had a few of those...they're no fun. Crazy or scary dreams are apparently common during pregnancy (how come no one warned me?!!) but I wonder if there's a time when they finally taper off.

    Glad to know I'm not the only one! I've had crazier dreams when I was on Effexor. I just hate the nightmares.

    I have a friend who's a therapist, and I was telling her about my dreams.  She said often times pregnant women dream about death.  Sometimes it's death of the baby, or someone else, or even themselves.  She said it represents a part of you dying by becoming a mother. 

    She also said that a lot of women dream of water in their 3rd trimester.  But then we got off track and I can't remember why...
