Stole this from another board. An article from the Washington Post about how Facebook is so hard for IF couples. Very well written. Glad to see the issue getting some press.
very true, and glad someone is paying attention to this! Now if the FH would just wake up . . .
m/c#1 07/16/08 (11 weeks), m/c#2 10/10/08 (8 weeks).
and then nothing since except every test possible (no answers).

See that's the problem. FHs won't even read this article. So, yes the topic is getting press, but it's preaching to the choir. Only those who are (or have been) in the trenches of m/c or IF will read and *get* this article. And any FH who does happen to read it is likely to think, 'omg, they're hiding me b/c I'm preggo? Can't they just be happy for meeeee?'

This IS a great article! Tempted to post it on FB, but don't want any of my pregnant/parent friends (who are, overall, really good on FB) to think I'm targeting them with bitterness...

Thank you for posting this! This story really captures my hot/cold relationship with Facebook. I guess I am not alone in using the "hide" feature recently.

I just sent that to one of the biggest offenders I know. Maybe she'll take the hint?
Very good article though!
Thanks for sharing.
I posted it to my FB and said that I love the article, especially the last couple of sentences.
