  I love Can't Hardly Wait but it has a ton of drinking in it. I watched it when it was on TV a few weeks ago and couldn't believe how much drinking there was-- I hadn't seen it in years! So my vote is for The Breakfast Club, although I'm betting they'll like it less than CHW. I haven't seen Dazed and Confused, I don't think....unless I'm forgetting it.

  Dazed & Confused takes place in the 70s but has stars like Matthew McConaughey, Parker Posie, Jason London, and Ben Affleck.  It has some serious pot themes to it but it isn't all about drinking and drugs. 

  It covers a lot of cliques, senioritis, bullying (hazing), dating...and it has a kick a$$ soundtrack.

  I'm not sure what you are going for here... I voted for Can't Hardly Wait cuz I lurve that movie.  But I feel like it pretty much glorifies drinking... I don't have a lot of experience dealing with talking with teens about this stuff, so I'm not sure how you would handle that... but maybe it could start a good convo too.

  i voted dazed and confused, mainly because i think most will have seen the breakfast club since its a classic. and i think many will have already seen can't hardly wait. i don't think too many will have seen dazed and confused. i know i personally didn't see it until i had to do a paper on it in high school.
